Cosmos bipinnatus var. cosmicos
This variety yields regal plants topped with extravagant blossoms that have tubular petals in a range of pastel pinks and white. Because it deters pests, this is a great companion plant with corn.

I’m leaving this review just to bring up the rating because these had a great germination rate and are a good standard for any cut flower garden. Is the picture on the packet wrong? Yes, but it says right on the back that they’re pink and white flowers. A minor error in printing shouldn’t mean they need to waste who knows how many plastic seed packets to repack them with the correct picture. There’s enough waste in the world as it is.
I see the photo on the cover of the packet has been changed to show pink and white flowers. The one I bought (and clearly the one the other reviewer bought) showed whites and blues. I found these in mid-summer, too late to grow for sale in my greenhouse, and now I am glad that I didn’t offer them to customers. I like pink and white seashell cosmos;I really do. But when you have a photo of blue ones, you should have blue ones. It turns out blue ones don’t exist. You probably made a lot of sales on that, but now we know better. That was shameful.
